Austin Sparks was saved at the age of 17 and it was at the young age of 24 that he was ordained as a minster. He ministered in London pastoring three churches during a span of three years. He was later to leave the Baptist denomination to establish a Christian Centre in Scotland from where a bi-monthly magazine ‘A Witness and a Testimony’ went out right up to the time of his death in 1971. Many Christians were blessed and uplifted by his ministry and hi written works are still able to be accessed today, many of them having been part of the bi-monthly magazine.
