“♫THE LOVE OF GOD IS GREATER FAR“ - Chapel Chat

The love of God was greater than the disobedience and sin of Adam and Eve. He could have destroyed them, but shed the blood of animals as a covering for their sin. They learned that God hates sin but in His love, He is willing to provide a blood sacrifice. Genesis 3.
The love of God was greater than the great wickedness of the whole world just before the flood. He could have destroyed all the people, but chose to start over with the righteous ones (8) and destroy the rest of the world in a worldwide flood. In His love he set a rainbow in the sky to declare that He would never do that again.
The love of God was greater than the great sin of the nation of Israel at the base of the Mt. Sinai. They had just seen the mighty power of God in walking on dry land through the Red Sea. Now they had not seen Moses for forty days, and decided to make a molded god to worship. God was furious!! He would have destroyed them all and started over with Moses, but Moses interceded for them. In His great love he relented and did not destroy them. Exodus 32:7-14.
The love of God is greater than all the sin and rebellion of the world.  “Through one man sin entered the world,–thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—.“ “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” Rom. 5:12, I John 4:9.
Choose God’s love and His Son for life with Him forever!!
