THE CROSS ON CALVARY

Why does the devil hates, hates so much the cross?
‘cause the blood of Jesus redeemed us ―
So it’s the devil’s loss
On Calvary on that forsaken tree
JESUS went thru hell; for you and me

Why does the devil hates, hates so much the cross?
‘cause Jesus died for the sinners so lost, so lost
When Jesus cried, My God My God why hast thou forsaken Me?
Victory was near and our sins forgiven for free
This is the only reason He dies on that tree that man-made tree

Why does the devil hates, hates so much the cross
‘cause Jesus: eternally gained and the devil lost
So sinners could be saved, He gave his life on that cross
He paid the price for you and for me
And made it possible to follow Him in eternity
