WE NEED A SAVIOR WHO CAN RECREATE US. - Chapel Chat

    We need a Savior and a Mediator because we are born sinful creatures and cannot overcome it. The sin of Adam consigned all humans to condemnation. “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation,” Rom 5:12,18.

    One sin proves that we have a sinful nature and keeps us out of heaven. “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” James 2:10. The rich, young ruler in  Matthew 19:21, had one sin that kept him from eternal life. The sin of covetousness. God the Father is the one offended by our sin, and He is the only one that can forgive our sin. He does this through the blood sacrifice made on the cross by His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

    We need to become a new creation. A creation free from the  condemnation of sin. When we repent and accept Christ as the sacrifice for our sin, God declares us right before Him and makes us a new creature. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”  2 Cor. 5:17.This new creation is freed from the condemnation of sin and can now practice righteousness. One humble confession to God and He forgives you forever. Choose God’s forgiveness from condemnation today.
