“He has given us his very great and precious promises.” 2 Peter 1:4

Oh how should saints then treasure up those precious promises, which assure their preservation, protection, maintenance, deliverance, comfort, and everlasting happiness!

The promises are a mine of rich treasures! They are a garden full of the choicest and sweetest flowers of paradise! In them are wrapped up all celestial contentments and enjoyments! Therefore study them more than ever, and prize them more than ever, and improve them more than ever.
