CONTRACT ALLOWS WIFE TO BEAT HER HUSBAND

Mr. Zhang, from Chongqing, China, signed a contract that allows his wife to beat him once a week. The 32-year-old Mr. Zhang is very competitive and “never wants to lose an argument.” He says the only problem is that his wife knows kung fu.

When they get in a disagreement, his wife uses her skill to beat him up. The contract they signed says that she cannot beat him more than once a week, and if she does it spells out the consequences which are going to her parent’s house for three days. His wife said, “Now that we have a contract, I will force myself to drop the use of force,”—apparently that means to no more than once a week.
