Look at the time we got and behold

I’ll preach the truth like you told

Dad, if I could hear your words just once more
I’ll preach God’s word like NEVER heard before
No man but God would adore
Cause preaching truth ain’t what it’s supposed to be no more
Christians leaving God’s house—the world to adore

Dad, if I could lend you my eyes
If I could show you, show you the people’s lies
I bet you would stand up from your grave
And while upon the earth next to Jesus you gaze
Your words to me would definitely be… Never son, never …
