Duncan Campbells Audio Sermons

(13th February 1898-28th March 1972) Duncan Campbell was mightily used by God in the Hebrides Revival. He was born into a godly Christian home, came under deep conviction of sin as a young man. Already deeply conscious of his lost state, he had that very day heard his father pray for his soul in a meeting hall and his mother calling on God for him, as he reached home. He asked God to save him and was overwhelmed with the joy of salvation. Immediately, his great desire was to seek souls for Christ. He was called up to serve in World War 1 as a gunner, and after that in the cavalry. Upon his return home, his zeal for souls was as ardent as before. He attended the Faith Mission in Edinburgh to prepare for the ministry. Many souls were saved as he went around Ireland and Scotland, but it was in the Island of Skye, Lewis and Barvas, that God came down in Revival power. This movement on the Isle of Lewis was a direct answer to the prayers of two faithful intercessors, frail Peggie and Christine Smith 82 and 84 years or age. He later served in the Faith Mission for ten years from 1956-1966, to be followed by widespread preaching, the last being in Lausanne Switzerland before he was called Home.
