IF WE ARE GOING ON WITH GOD

If we are going on with God, the only thing that is clear to you, and the only thing God intends to be clear, is the way He deals with your soul and yours only, not your brother or sister or neighbours.

Oswald Chambers said, “Your brother’s sorrows and perplexities are an absolute confusion to you. We imagine we understand where the other person is, until God gives us a close plague of our own hearts. There are whole tracts of stubbornness and ignorance to be revealed by the Holy Spirit in each one of us, and it can only be done when Jesus gets us alone.”

I can only say Amen to that. Jesus did tell Peter, what is it to you … follow thou Me. Let God deal with your brother and do not let it distract you. Go on with God follow Him go down to your secret place and humble yourself before God. When have you been alone with Jesus, so alone so that He can show you who you are and me ― the more I get alone with Him the more I see my unworthiness and the more I see His grace through the cross … be totally abandoned to God and you shall see what God can do.

You say you know GOD? MY question this morning is … it’s not do you know Him … but does God know you?
