Jannie le Roux was saved at the age of 14 years. It was after his marriage to Enid Jones at the age of 25, that he made a full surrender to God and from that time he had a passion for souls that would touch and impact all he met. While a dedicated farmer, he was asked to preach across South Africa and Namibia. His practical and vivid every-day illustrations and anecdotes and love of Scripture enthralled audiences. He devoured the Word of God, rising in the early hours of the morning to seek God’s face with an open Bible. His integrity and wisdom when counselling people, had a deep impact on lives. He had a wonderful sense of humor shown in his interaction with people. This endeared him to all. 1000’s of souls met with God through his untiring zeal right up to the time of his death.
