Laden with Burdens

Laden with burdens, men sink in despair.
Life is a struggle; they’re burdened with care.
Leaden the sky, as they cry out in vain;
No-one will answer and deaden the pain.

Others with burdens as large as the rest
Found out the secret, with joy they confessed,
“Christ took our burden, He carries our load.
Into His arms, we our worries bestowed.”
