OUR GRACIOUS GOD IS ALSO A GOD OF JUSTICE. - Chapel Chat

    God the Father is a loving God of grace and mercy to all those who come to Him in humility, seeking forgiveness for offending Him. He is also a God of justice to all those who ignore Him, rebel against Him and seek only their own will. Matt.7:21-23.

    Consider His righteous justice in His major judgments on mankind:  His judgment of death to Adam and Eve and for all mankind because they believed Satan rather than God. Gen.2:17, Romans 6:18. His judgment of a world wide flood and destruction against the total wickedness and evil of mankind. Noah and family excepted. Gen. 6-7. His judgment of confusing languages at the Tower of Babel because mankind wanted to establish their own willful way of worshipping and coming to God. Genesis 10:1-9. His judgment of destruction and scattering the nation of Israel/Judah because of idolatry and unbelief. Deut. 4:25-29, II Chron. 36:14-21.

    There are two more major judgments to come. The Judgment of the Great Tribulation on the whole world, prophesied in Revelation 6-19 and the final judgment at the end of Christ’s 1000 year reign.

    Christ says in Matt.13:40-43, “at the end of this age. (Our’s)The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Today is the day of salvation, escape judgment.
