I ask no dream, no prophet ecstasies,

No sudden rending of the veil of clay,

No angel visitant, no opening skies;

But take the dimness of my soul away.

This verse is left out of most hymnals. But it gets to the heart of the matter. I don’t ask for the bells and whistles…I don’t expect them…I simple want His Presence filling my life.
