WHAT IS IN THINE HAND? - Hannes Zegement Grove
WHAT IS IN THINE HAND?
What is in thine hand Moses? Just a simple rod.
In the hands of a broken man it is a rod of God
Stories of miracles and glory for endless legends to be told
Just point his rod across and waters will proclaimingly unfold
What is in thy hand little lad? Only a pen to write
In the hands of a crushed heart it is a pen of light
Write down My given thoughts bravely and bold
And My thoughts will turn to unspoken words of solid gold
What is in thy hands dear foreign stranger?
Only words of painful hope and anger?
Your expressions tells of agony which calling will turn
to unjustifiable ministries
Where you could help set underserving sinful captives free
Just open your eyes―in your hands a God-given gift clearly
Use it to glorify Him and one day receive a crown by His Majesty
