Why die this young asketh Adam and sons
I was twice your age when Eve gave me one
130 years of age when God gave me Seth
What an amazing gift I got the best
Look what sin did to our universe
At 70 dying this is sins curse

Why die this young
Seth’s life at 130 has just begun
But you and me before that are gone
This cursed earth and our sin cannot be undone
But God who loveth us so much
Sent His Son and His Spirit the graceful dove

Why die this young can you not carry on
Before the flood, being 300 is considered grown-up
Dying at 70 would be the death of a child a young buck
Sin ruined our life on this forsaken earth
But God came to us with His Son’s birth
Making ready a new heaven and everlasting earth
