I Took A Little Sin

Dear Lord I took a little sin
To come and dwell with me,
So small it wasn’t seen at all
And hid from all, but Thee!

But now this little sin has grown
And robbed me of my joy.
It has become my master.
I am in its employ!

My child, you cannot harbour sin
Without a consequence.
You’ll steep your live in misery
And lose your confidence.

Repent in earnest penitence.
Seek My forgiveness true.
I’ll wash away that monstrous sin
That’s busy ruining you!
