Is It Bold?

Is it bold for a baker to talk about bread?
Is it bold to repeat what another man said?

Is it bold for a Christian to quote from the Word?

Is it bold to pass on what you’ve already heard?

Is it odd for mechanics to talk about cars?

Is it odd when astronomers point at the stars?

Well then, why is it odd, if the Spirit’s within,

When you point to the Son who has saved you from sin?

Is it strange when you talk of the love of your life?

Or when men tell the story of meeting their wife?

Well then, why is it strange when a man’s born again,

If he talks about Jesus, the Saviour of men?
