L - Christian Hymns

There are many hymns in the ‘L’ section that have been sung again and again. The Author is anonymous of the wonderful worship hymn,
‘Lord Jesus the Rose Sharon’ loved by many. Fanny Crosby’s hymns pop up in all sections and the ‘L’ section is not an exception! ‘Lord at Thy mercy feet humbly I fall‘ has been the means of many a soul coming out to commit their lives to God. ‘Lead Kindly Light’ by John Henry Newman is a wonderful hymn of assurance dealing with the continual guidance of God leading us forward. ‘Let every Mortal Ear Attend’ is an interesting hymn in that it has two authors, Isaac Watts (Verses 1, 3 and 5), and Bernhard Schumacher being the author of verse 4! ‘Little Lamb Who Made Thee’ by William Blake is a delightful rendering of the love of God and the fact that He made us.
‘Love Lifted Me’ by James Rowe is a hymn of deep gratitude to God for His great love and redemption. The ‘L’ section is truly a treasure trove of hymns.
