Prayer
In sweet communion with my Lord,
In prayer and reading from His Word.
I find true peace and deep relief,
In times of pain and deepest grief.

In the quiet, of the early morning hour,
I pray to Him for strength and power.
For wisdom and for knowledge here,
To stand fast, be true, and persevere.

I talk to Him, for He’s my friend,
I can without doubt, on Him depend.
I trust Him fully, without a fear,
He will never forsake me, here.

I tell him all my thoughts and fears,
I know that he cares and always hears.
He will help me, where He sees best,
In every trial and deep life’s test.

I know He hears my prayer so humble,
He will help me not to fall or stumble.
For I am weak and need His presence,
Need His love and much forbearance

He gives me strength and perfect peace,
My joyful praises, will never cease.
I am so blessed when I can pray,
And have this time with Him each day!!!
