Alan Redpath Text Sermons

Alan Redpath was an only son of his parents, James and Christina Redpath. He studied to become a chartered accountant. After completions he worked as a chartered accountant for a firm until 1935. He joined up as an evangelist in 1936, as part of the National Young Life League. After that, in 1940, he was called to become the minister of the Duke Street Chapel church in Richmond. Redpath next went to the United States to take up the position as pastor of the Moody Church in Chicago and it was there that he also received a Honorary Doctorate Divinity Degree. Upon his return to the U.K., he became the pastor of the Charlotte Baptist Chapel in Edinburg. It was during this time that he suffered a severe stroke and although he recovered he was deeply affected suffering depression as a result. In 1956, he was no longer the pastor, entering in upon a wider ministry, speaking at many conferences and churches. Many lives were saved, blessed, and challenged. His preaching and writings will continue to touch lives as they have done in the past.
